3. Phone Numbers and Contact Information

PawFind requires users to provide a valid contact phone number for certain app features, including pet-related posts. This phone number may be made available to other users of PawFind in order to enable communication about lost or found pets.

In some cases, the phone number may be partially hidden until another user chooses to reveal it within the app, but it is still considered shared user information for the purpose of enabling contact.

4. Location Information

PawFind uses location data to provide map-based features, nearby pet discovery, and location-related post functionality. Location information may be visible to other users where necessary to help identify, report, or find lost and found pets.

Users can control location permissions through their device settings. However, some features of PawFind may be limited if location access is denied.

5. How Information May Be Shared

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information in the following cases:

• With other users: Information that users choose to submit in posts may be visible to other PawFind users, including pet photos, descriptions, location details, and contact information such as phone numbers where applicable.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide PawFind services, maintain safety and moderation records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

User content may remain stored until removed by the user, an administrator, or according to our moderation and retention practices.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, disclosure, or alteration. However, no internet-based service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
